            മുതുകാട് ഗോപിനാഥ്

1964 ഏപ്രിൽ പത്താം തീയ്യതി  മലപ്പുറം ജില്ലയിലെ   നിലമ്പൂരിനടുത്ത്   കവളമുക്കട്ടയിൽ കവണഞ്ചേരി കുഞ്ഞുണ്ണിനായരുടേയും മുതുകാട് ദേവകിയമ്മയുടെയും മകനായി ജനിച്ചു പത്താമത്തെ വയസു മുതൽ മാജിക്ക് പരിശീലനം ആരംഭിച്ചു. മഞ്ചേരി എൻ.എസ്സ്.എസ്സ്. കോളേജിൽ നിന്നു ഗണിതശാസ്ത ത്തില്‍      ബിരുദം നേടി. നിലമ്പൂര്‍     ആസ്ഥാനമാക്കി മുതുകാട്   മാജിക്കല്‍  എന്റെര്‍ടിനെര്ഴ്സ്   എന്ന പേരിൽ ഒരു മാജിക്ക് ട്രൂപ്പിനു രൂപം കൊടുത്തു. ഇന്ധ്യയിലും വിദേശത്തുമായി നിരവധി വേദികളിൽ 

പരിപാടികള്‍    അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു വരുന്നു. മാജിക്കിനെ ആധുനികവല്‍ ക്കരിച്ചതിനും ഈ രംഗത്ത് ഒട്ടേറെ പുതുമകൾ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചതിനും ലോകമാന്ത്രിക സംഘടനയായ   ഇന്റര്‍ നാഷണല്‍     ബ്രദര്ഹുഡ് ഓഫ്  മെജിഷ്യന്റിന്റെ   വിശിഷ്ടാംഗീകാരവും മറ്റു നിരവധി പുരസ്കാരങ്ങളും ലഭിച്ചട്ടുണ്ട്.

3. Prathibha Pranamam Honour by Kerala state government in 2000.

5. Rotary Vocational Excellence Award (2002-03)
6. Entry into the LIMCA Book of Records in 2003.
7. Humanity Service Award from Anti Smoking Society, Qatar in 2004
8. Lions Excellence Award in 2005.
9. Kerala Legislative Assembly's Memento in 2005.
10. Icon of Illusions Honour, Press Club of Nagercoil in 2007.
